Creating Your Identity - Entrepreneurship Practicum
The University of Miami School of Business Administration Entrepreneur in Residence Eric Kriss will host a weekly practicum series about starting a new venture over the course of the Spring semester. The practicum will focus on issues such as forming the entity, developing an ownership structure, making a web presence, and various other critical topics.
The first session, “Creating Your Identity,” will describe and explain the steps that should be taken when developing an image for one’s new venture. Topics will include:
1. Inventing a name
2. Choosing logos and icons
3. Selecting and acquiring a URL
4. Developing the company email, address, and phone number
5. Business cards
And much more. The practicum is free and open to the public.
