South Florida exporters share their tricks of the trade for navigating export in our diverse region. Immediately following will be America’s top exporter and radio show host Neal Asbury presenting his plan for revitalizing American business.

Keynote Speaker: Neal Asbury
Is the chief executive of The Legacy Companies. He was the 2008 recipient of the coveted United States National Champion Exporter of the Year Award. Each week, Neal hosts “The Neal Asbury Show,” a nationally syndicated radio talk show that attracts a Who’s Who of political and business figures. In 1987, he founded Asbury WorldWide which became the largest American Export Management Company in its segment, with twelve distribution facilities around the globe. Mr. Asbury is also a founding faculty member of Export University, a collaboration between the District Export Council and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Asbury was also named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 Award Finalist in Florida
Moderator: Ralph MacNamara
Is Director of Client Services for Kaufman, Rossin & Co., one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA firms in the country. MacNamara is also Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Florida District Export Council, where he was appointed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke; serves on the International Trade Advisory Board for Miami-Dade County; and is a member of the Florida Advisory Committee for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.

Eduardo Torres
Is the South Florida Director for the U.S. Commercial Service, a division of the United States Department of Commerce. Mr. Torres and his team of International Trade Specialists provide export counseling, information on foreign markets, access to international contacts, and advocacy services. Prior to joining the U.S. Government, Torres was the Director of Research and International Marketing for a company in California generating sales and projects in several countries in both the environmental and agricultural sectors.
