Gaming and Mobile Applications Summit
The Launch Pad, along with co-sponsors Refresh Miami, IGDA South Florida, South Florida Technology Alliance (SFTA), and Best Buy, is pleased to host its first annual Gaming and Mobile Apps Summit, highlighting the industry from several perspectives: developers, mobile applications, manufacturers, and creative shops on Friday, November 20th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm.
Featured speakers include:
- Nelson Gonzalez (founder of Alienware)
- Marc Menchler (founder of Game Recruiter)
- Niero Gonzalez (founder of Destructoid)
- Davide De Cillo (www.getappsdone.com and ThirtyNine)
The summit will also include a demo and product exhibition of leading game developers and organizations from our student and alumnus population, as well as from the South Florida community. There will also be a gaming tournament hosted downstairs for attendees to try their hand at some of the products and games covered at the summit.

Parking
1. Continue straight on Stanford Drive. You can purchase a day parking pass on the Information Booth.
2. Make a turn on your second left at Merrick Street.
3. Turn left at Pavia Street.
4. Pavia Garage. You can also purchase a day parking pass here.
5. To get to the event follow the dashed arrow. There is a bridge you will need to go through before you arrive to the the Whitten University Center.
There is additional parking on Pavia Garage.
