The Launch Pad is proud to be partnering with WeMedia (wemedia.com) to help sponsor and promote the WeMedia Miami ’10 Elevator Pitch Competition where two ventures will receive $25,000 in funding. There are only 12 days left to register your business and submit your venture for the contest. This could be a great opportunity for some of you looking for seed or growth financing and we hope that you will participate.

If you don’t want to pitch your business, but would like to be involved, you can register to attend the competition as a spectator. This will give you access to see ventures go through the fund raising process, mentors, industry professionals and investors from major industries. Hope to see you all there.

What’s YOUR Bold idea?

Calling all founders, dreamers and social entrepreneurs
How will YOU build a better world through media and technology? Founders and would-be entrepreneurs can pitch their big ideas to a panel of business-launching experts. We’ll invest up to $25,000 in each of two ideas. Slow pokes need not apply. Be ready to run. If you’re a finalist, you’ll bring your idea and present it live before judges and the audience at We Media Miami ‘10. Even if you’re not a finalist, come watch the competition to start the next big thing.
We Media PitchIt! begins with a simple goal: We want to find the best start-ups and help launch them with advice from funders, investors, corporations, fellow entrepreneurs, attendees and media. We’re open to commercial and non-profit ideas. We’ve created a platform for seed-stage companies to take center stage.
