Pimp Your App: Use Xamarin.Forms Animation to Increase Your App WOW Factor

Pump up your UX by adding the polish to your Xamarin.Forms UI.  Make your app stand out without resorting to custom renderers and eliminate that messy platform specific code.
Background
As one of the core principles of Google’s new “Material Design” philosophy, the chant of the mantra states: Motion provides meaning.  Therefore, it is essential to use animation as a supportive technique to communicate the functionality of your mobile app.  Xamarin.Forms makes this easy since you can select from a set of pre-defined animations, or you can define your own complex animations for stellar impact.
In this session, we will build a small cross-platform game to explore the Xamarin.Forms animation infrastructure for making your application dance on the screen.  Discussion topics will cover how to: create Simple, Compound and Composite Animation, precisely control motion with built-in and custom Easing Functions, and construct complex Custom Animation for app or gaming elements.
Did you think Xamarin.Forms was only for simple boring form apps?  Not anymore.
