This prestigious event showcases groundbreaking solutions in fields like healthcare, engineering, and technology. Held at University of Notre Dame from April 1-3.
SimuStride’s winning concept is an augmented reality solution designed to revolutionize rehabilitation for amputees. Specifically, they’ve created a sensor-equipped sleeve paired with an AR headset, allowing patients to begin vital muscle training just days after surgery. This innovative approach aims to improve recovery and quality of life for amputees.
SimuStride’s victory was secured through their compelling pitch and a demonstration of their working prototype, ultimately winning the $15,000 prize. Their success is a testament to their hard work, ingenuity. The Launch Pad proudly coaches, hosts, and sponsors a University of Miami student team for this competitive event that tests their pitch, Q&A skills, and prototype development.
