Mia is a junior double majoring in Africana Studies and Sociology with minors in Management and Communications. With aspirations to own her own Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging consulting firm in the future, Mia has found a passion for entrepreneurship and consulting through The Launch Pad. Mia has interned for start up companies in the past and helped them to implement diverse and equitable practices. She looks forward to being able to bring a fresh and unique perspective to clients to ensure that they create the best business for everyone.
Outside of work, Mia is active on campus, occupying executive board positions for the NAACP, NCNW, Gravity Magazine, and is the founder and director of Beyond the Umbrella, Orange Umbrella Miami’s DEIB initiative.
