Carlos Ramirez is the CEO and founder of Powerful Yogurt, the pioneering company that designed the first dairy product for the needs of active men, making Powerful Yogurt a headlining story across the globe. The massive positive response from active women and men alike pushed the brand to fully evolve to an active lifestyles brand in late 2013. Carlos developed and grew the Powerful Yogurt product line out of commitment to create delicious, all-natural, high protein products to fuel an active lifestyle.
Carlos is an entrepreneur with balanced experience in building companies from scratch, and also managing large corporations. A results-drive international executive with 20 years of hands-on experience crafting and implementing growth strategies for Fortune 500 companies across industries, and developing profitable multi-million revenue streams in leading companies, as well as building, developing start-up companies.
Trained working alongside the most successful marketer of our time, Sergio Zyman, the former CMO of the Coca-Cola Company, Carlos has worked extensively in many North American, European, Asian, and Latin-American countries allowing him to gain a better understanding of the nuances that shape different cultures and their business implications in the region and within the US Market.
Lately, Carlos has focused on leading Powerful Yogurt, the company that launched the first yogurt specifically designed for men, and now focused on all natural, great tasting protein products for athletes and active lifestyles.
Carlos also has previous experience not just as a practicioner, but also as a strategic consultant with Zyman Group, and with Mckinsey & Co. Carlos began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked in production and then marketing.
Born and raised in Caracasa, Venezula, Carlos holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a Bachelors degree in Production Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas where he graduated Cum Laude.
