Coding For Lawyers

March 30, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

As part of its continued efforts to navigate the intersection of law and technology, DCBA’s Young Lawyers Section, and the Millennials Altering the Profession (MAP) Think Tank, present Coding for Lawyers. Launched last year at the LAB Miami, the MAP Think Tank seeks to disrupt archaic traditions and misguided perceptions by providing attorneys with an innovative platform for collaboration and for the dissemination of ideas meant to modernize the legal profession. Coding for Lawyers event attendees can expect to engage with panelist and one another in an interactive discussion, to have fun, and to receive answers to these questions: (i) what is coding; (ii) why should lawyers care about coding (the substantive legal implications); and (iii) how one goes about learning to code (as a hobby or as a career pursuit)? Hosted By: The Map Think Tank, Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section CLE Committee, Kristen Corpion, and West Kraemer
