Waffle Wednesday with Great Miami Makeathon & Tedge Network

Waffle Wednesday is a local Miami community event hosted at the LiveNinja offices in Wynwood, Miami. Every Wednesday morning (except for the last Wednesday of the month – check out our Waffles After Work event) we cook up delicious waffles in our office and host local entrepreneurs, artists, activists, and more to mingle over breakfast and some brief presentations by our weekly featured guests. We are sponsored by the Knight Foundation, and are honored to be considered a staple in the Miami entrpreneurial and tech communities.
This week we will welcome you with our No Chex in the Champagne Room Waffle & fresh coffee to enjoy presentations by Great Miami Makeathon and Tedge Network.
For our Waffle Lovers, this is a light, crispy waffle topped with champagne whipped cream, sprinkled w/ Chocolate Chex pieces, and drizzled w/ truffle honey.
Great Miami Makeathon is a three-day design and prototype challenge in which participants develop functional prototypes that address the real-world needs of three of Miami’s hottest new learning and recreational spaces: the Miami Science Barge, Wynwood Yard, and the American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora. Designs can center around technology, sustainability, education, or anything else that enhances the spaces and creates more engaging and innovative user experiences for their patrons while conserving resources. Winners will receive a cash prize, the opportunity to work with our partner venues to turn their prototypes into reality, and prominent placement at the upcoming Maker Faire Miami (April 8-9).
